The Land Adjudication and Settlement Assistant will report to the Senior Land Adjudication and Settlement Officer. The Officer at this level will guide demarcation officers in the field and be responsible for dispute resolution.

- advise members of the Secretary to the County Land Management Board on Land Adjudication procedures;
- ensure recording of land owners’ rights and interests and prepare demarcation maps and records;
- hear and determine land adjudication objection cases raised against the Adjudication Register;
- ensure implementation of objection case decisions;
- ensure Group Ranch members’ registers are updated;
- collect and remittance of Agricultural Settlement Fund revenue;
- prepare settlers records to facilitate documentation;
- identify and record squatters against the scheme advisory plan;
- maintain up to date settlers’ documents and records;
- verify scheme occupancy and sensitize settlers; and
- prepare reports.

(i) served in the grade of Land Adjudication and Settlement Officer in private or public sector equivalent position in relevant institution for at least three (3) years:
(ii) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Land Survey, Law, Geography, Agriculture and Human Ecology Extension, Agriculture and Home Economics, Sociology, Community Development or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
(iii) Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution; and
(iv) demonstrated competence and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
